Yoga Instructor

Kama Mylvaganam

Kama Mylvaganam has been teaching yoga for a little over two years. Mindful, aligned movement has brought many benefits to her life, and she teaches both online and at a special studio that celebrates the unique gifts and approach of each teacher while prioritizing community. Kama finds joy and honor in being part of the transformation that happens on the yoga mat.
Her journey began as a way to release stress after experiencing an intense loss. Yoga supported her recovery from multiple injuries and has since become a grounding practice that touches every aspect of her life—mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, energetic, and creative. As a writer, artist, and civil servant affairs professional, yoga and dance allow Kama to be more authentic and present in all her endeavors.
Kama began teaching yoga in 2019 after earning her diploma from Annamalai University. Her classes are always varied in format but consistently focus on yoga practises of the 7 chakras, yoga dance, meditation, opening, and balance through creative movements.
When she’s not on the yoga mat, you can find Kama hiking with her dog, dancing, or indulging in a good book over some tea. She’s thrilled to be a part of the Ayuryogavilla team!"
